Anyone who says cricket is a dull game that lacks excitement has clearly never seen a game like the one between Dundrum and Holywood in the first round of the Banoge (U13) Cup. The outcome remained in doubt right up until, and after, the last ball was bowled. Nerves were stretched as tight as piano strings as, ball-by-ball, fortune swung first to one team, then to the other and back again. Each delivery of the last over occurred in total silence and was followed by groans, cheers, cries of support and even a few whispered prayers.

U13 Team vs Holywood: Weds 30 May

The U13 team to play Holywood in the Banoge Cup, first round is now posted at "Junior > Team Sheets > U13".

This is a home game with a 6.00 - 6.15 pm start. All players are asked to be at The Meadow for 5.30 pm for warm-up and team talk.

Please note there will be no junior practice on Wednesday 30th May. Instead, the U13s will be playing Holywood in the first round of the Banoge Cup.

U15s and U13s are welcome to attend senior practices (in a separate net / area, as appropriate) on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Coaching will be available. The next session for the U11s will be on Monday 4th June in advance of their second round cup game away to Donaghcloney on 6th June.
